Sorry. I'm using Responder version 1.1.1, which was the latest we received
from Apple (we have their mega-update service). If 1.0.1 truly fixed this
bug, then they re-introduced it in 1.1.1. Another posting reported the
same result on another II/FX, so perhaps this is a new version of an
older bug?

Anyone from Apple out there?

InterPoll 1.0 and Responder 1.1.1 (distributed with System 6.0.5) did
not work together. I have Responder 1.1.1 and InterPoll 1.0.1
(creation/modification date Mon, Jan 23, 1989), and they work together
just fine on my IIfx. The main differences with Responder 1.1.1 seem to
be that it knows about the IIfx for its type field and that it follows
Apple's own guidelines about not calling InitWindows() in an INIT. That
is, it doesn't wipe out your pretty startup screen when it loads itself.

Re: InterPoll 1.0.1

I've scoured all my developer CD's and ftp sites - where is InterPoll
1.0.1?

1.0.1 is the version no of Inter*Poll, not the Responder. 1.1.1 is the
current version of Responder, as far as I know. Sorry for the confusion.

Great question. My follow-up question is whether Interpoll 1.0.1 can
handle AppleTalk Phase II. At the moment I don't think 1.0 does (though
our Phase II is very small and will remain so until it can work across
FDDI bridges)

It is at your local Apple Dealer. Inter Poll is a commercial
application that Apple expects you to pay real dollars for. Don't
expect to find it on the developer CD's.

Sorry.
