Asc3270 Annoucement

ASC presents another new product, which was announced at the San Jose
Worldwide Developpers Conference: Asc3270, scheduled for distribution
as of December 15 1990.
It is currently undergoing Beta-Testing, and will be available as of
December 1, thru AppleLink in the Third Party Connection, Software
Demos, Network and Communication folder, from where you can download
and test it (do not forget to download TCPack as well, from the same
section).
Asc3270 is a terminal tool developed by Advanced Software Concepts,
designed to offer full 3270 terminal emulation using the standard
access interfaces of Apple's Communication Toolbox.
Asc3270 can be used by any application designed to take advantage of
the Communication Toolbox (such as Sample or MacTerminal 3.0),
provided the application respects the programming standards published
by Apple for this architecture.

Fully integrated with Esmeralda, our 100% MacWorkStation-compatible
language that supports the CTB and adds many interesting features to
MWS.
Fully integrated with TB-User, our communications application that
supports terminal emulations (all those available under CTBI),
scripting language, CCL, revamping, collaborative processing, Comm
ToolBox and more.
TB-User provides a powerful tool to connect to IBM, Vax and/or Unix
mainframes in a multi-session,multi-protocole environment.
We are waiting for the official IBM RFC's on 5250 to be published, in
order to come out with a 5250 Terminal Emulation Tool. Upgrade policy
from ASC3270 to ASC5250 available on request.
