I am trying to install RU-CAP2 on a SUN 4 network consisting of a 4/330 server and three SUN 4/65s under SunOS4.1. it looks like i will need to install the ethernet packet filter and so i will need to modify the kernel as documented in the enet README. 1) Is this packet filter known to work under 4.1.1? The README says that it "should" but i would like to know if someone has actually made it work! 2) Which kernel configuration should i be modifying? i started off modifying the GENERIC_SMALL which SUN supplies only to find that the suggested location to add the line "pseudo-device enetfilter" does not exist here! however it does exist in the file GENERIC. i would appreciate any and all help, please!!! thanks in advance! sriram

We have CAP running under SunOS 4.1 on SLC's and a SPARCstation 1+. The packet filter installed with no problems and seems to be working fine.
