At MITRE, we are looking for a person to handle user services
and system programming (some degree of each). The person must know
UNIX and hopefully has programmed in C. (Must know at least 2 other
programming languages if no experience with C.)
We are a fun group so if you are boring and don't relate to
others, stop reading. If you ARE fun, drop me a line.
As far as bene's, MITRE is competitive. They pay well and
aren't as subject to the recession woes as profit-making organizations
since we are non-profit. There's a good medical plan, retirement, ...
We travel all over, but have been known to keep you here if
you prefer. You'll go to the UNIX conferences. Other places are possible
if your interests coincide.
