I would like to eliminate appletalk for communications between our MacIntosh and ethernet to be replaced with pure TCP/IP. The only problem is that I need an easy way to print through my unix hosts which provides full support to the command-p capabilites that so many MacIntosh's incorporate. Neither the Mac TCP/IP package, Intercon nor the Wollongong seem to support this (now). I would like a solution now of course. I know the merits of appletalk and intend to continue using it for my laser printers but as far as connectivity for cpu's I want to move to the bandwith that ether provides. Since the packages I've looked at seem pretty core in the user domain and they don't provide this support I'll be sure to post any responses due to what I percieve will be responses to obscure products. thanks, jason -- Jason Thomasser | Auspex Systems, Inc.
