May I add the following question: Has anyone ported kboot to 4.1{.1} of SunOS yet? Thanks. Peace, dNb

I've ported kboot to sunos 4.x, and added KSTAR 8.0 support. The 8.0 support is kind of a kludge, mainly because I had to reverse engineer what was going on by staring at packet traces between a mac running fastpath manager and a kbox. The problem is that the zonelist configured by FPM is not downloaded with the rest of the configuration, it is instead converted into s-records and downloaded with the OS. The big problem was figuring out the format of the s-records, I think I've done it right (works for me :-) but I don't guarantee anything. The zonelist is part of the appletalk phase II configuration, if you're running KSTAR 7.0, or not running phase II, the zonelist shouldn't matter (although you have to send a null zonelist down with KSTAR 8.0 even if you aren't running phase II). Send me mail if you're interested in a copy. If there's sufficient interest I'll post it to this group. I'll need to spend a day or two cleaning up and documenting the code.
