Hi Netters. Someone recently pointed out that the UUTool 1.2 does not generate uuencoded output the same as their system. The difference was in spaces in place of '. This should not make a difference, since they both map to zero. However, the space in uuencode on some unix system is not happy. If I remember correctly, BSD uu did this mapping to satisfy mailers which reformat white space. It seems the uu with SunOS (not too sure if this statement is 100% correct) doesn't do this.
