I've been using NRC's IPGATE software as a gateway between Broadband and
ethernet for about a year. I have had some problems of course as I got early
copies. Problems included : Static Adressing doesn't work (FIXED now), frequent
crashes of the GateWay, and the inability to run it under multifinder. All
these problems have been fixed and I am generally pleased with the product. (
anyway how many Broadband to ethernet IPGATEWAYS are there to choose from, I
can only think of one more (Catus computer).

Right now I am having problems using netmail readers through the gateway , They
tend to crash the gateway but I'm not sure why. NRC is sending me the newest
version of the software and we hope that fixes the problem. I haven't seen the
Phase 2 version of the gateway yet but they are now shipping it.

By the way the support from NRC has been very good. I've called then about
35 times since I,ve started this project. They are always helpful and friendly
( maybe because I was there only Canadian customer ?).

Is anyone using the following AppleTalk routers:

	1.) Compatable Systems' EtherRoute (TCP)
	2.) NRC's Multigate 2000E (w/IPgate Software)
3.) NRC's IPgate (sw only router w/DDP-IP gateway feature)

If so, I'm very interested in hearing your personal opinion.
I'm in the process of selecting an AppleTalk router, however these
appear to be the "new kids on the block" :) and I'm slightly
reluctant to choose 'unproven' products.

*ANY* help/comments/suggestions would be *GREATLY* appreciated.

Thank you.

Ask Network Resources. That is where Wollongongs AT gateway comes from. But I
believe the answer is yes. ( I use there IPGATE software gateway)

I've seen the brochure, I've spoken with a sales rep (who knew little
more about the product than me), and I *STILL* do not have an answer
to my question regarding Wollongong's MacGateWay AT product.

Does Wollongong's MacGateWay AT product support DDP-IP gateway and
IP tunneling (a la the GatorBox, FastPath, and Multiport Gateway)?

This seems like a simple YES/NO answer to me.
So, can anyone help me out on this.
Thank you.
