I saw an advertisement for a box that you can plug into a LaserWriter that is a protocol converter between Ethernet and AppleTalk. Does anyone know the name of the gizmo off hand? What we're doing is setting up an Apple network using existing Ethernet network and we don't want to go to the expense of wiring in an AppleTalk network so the Macs can share the LaserWriters. From what I understand, this unnamed box links the AppleTalk port of the Laserwriter to the Ethernet netowrk and allows the printers to showup in the Chooser of the Macs? If there is a better solution than these converter boxes, I'd also like to hear ...Thanks

I recomend you to use EtherPrint!! This item relesed by Dayna Comminications Inc. If you use EtherPrint ,you can connect LaserWriterNTX to Ethernet directry. EtherPrint support two types of Ethernet,10base2,10base5. In addioton to support appletalk phase 1 and 2. --
