I did the Ethertalk support for RU-CAP. We don't have Ultrix machines, so I didn't do it. I believe the Ultrix packet filter is similar enough that a port to that version of Ultrix should be fairly easy. You should look at the Pyramid conditionals. The Pyramid version uses normal System V shared memory, rather than the mmap call. I'm guessing Ultrix will have System V shared memory and not mmap.

In principle I think we'd be willing to integrate Ultix changes back into our sources. My only reservation is that it looks like the next version of CAP is being done out of Australia, so I'm not sure quite what is happening to our sources. If you really intend to do an Ultrix port, you should send me mail and I'll try to get you into contact with the folks who are doing CAP work at the moment.
