[comp.protocols.appletalk] solution for the CAP's Aufs disconnection

This is what I posted a few weeks ago. Since then I have received a few
suggestions, but still couldn't solve my problem until yesterday.

I have discovered that there were other zones beside the 'systems Network'
that I can mount my SUN disk without any problems. So, I compared two
networks (zones). Difference was one has Shiva telebridges as a part
of the network, and the others don't. Since I have an extra FP/4,
I set up a dedicated FP/4 for all the telebridges.
Now, everything is working perfect. I don't know exactly why it didn't
work if there were telebridges on the network, but at least it's working
now. Thanks everyone, especially those people who emailed me their suggestions.

I have had similar problems with CAP and telebridges, It seems as
though the telebridge does not forward tickle packets. On an Appleshare
file server the lack of tickle packets seems to be ignored and the
connection is maintained but under aufs the connection is dropped after
two minutes (as the spec says it should be).

I am talking to the local distributor here in Australia in order to
tind out if it is me that has misconfigured the telebridge or if there
is a real problem. I will post again once I find out.
