Forgive my ignorance - I'm not an appletalk wizard and I've probably got the terms a bit wrong. It is my understanding that there exists software which will allow my NeXT machine (with laser printer) to appear as an appletalk laser printer to my Mac. I've looked a bit at CAP but this seems to be oriented toward ethernet versions of appletalk - my intent is to use the serial line version of appletalk (ie., an appletalk connector out one of the serial ports on the Mac and into a serial port of the NeXT - is this what is refered to as localtalk?). Is CAP what I want and if not, what is? My thanks in advance for any assistance. Replies to me via email as I'm not a regular reader of this newsgroup, please. -Kim Korner
