The primary experimental research interests of the Department are in
artificial intelligence, scientific computation, distributed systems,
architecture, and programming languages.

Yale is moving strongly to personal computing, and we are looking
for someone who will take the initiative in designing and implementing
new software systems (editors, mail systems, databases, etc.) that
are appropriate to our distributed environment.

A strong background in networking is valuable, as are a degree in
Computer Science and several years of experience. Yale is an Equal
Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.

For further information about the position please contact me.
