Hi, Can anyone give me some pointers on freeware on sending print jobs from Unix machines to printers hooked to Macs where the Macs are connected to the ethernet via Gatorbox'es ? I've done setup the other way round -- sending Mac print jobs to Unix printers (and at that time I also heard of solutions to send Unix print jobs to Mac printers but I forgot what those packages are and where to get them). Any poniters appreciated. -- ========================================== + Eric Ho Email: eric@sbi.com + Salomon Brothers, Inc. [SISS] Phone: (201) 896-4356 ==========================================

Perhaps I'm missing something here, but what you're describing is the raison d'etre of GatorPrint, which is a free upgrade from Cayman. I've used it, and it works well. Nice and fast. -Bill Woodcock BMUG NetAdmin ________________________________________________________________________________ bill.woodcock.iv..woody@ucscb.ucsc.edu..2355.virginia.st..berkeley.ca.94709.1315
