Applications Systems Analyst/Program Wanted: MDDC, Cincinnati, Ohio
Assist in the development of administrative software for CARS
system (Campus Administration, Resource Planning, and
Student Instruction), a system with strong attraction to colleges
and universities. Administrative software, written in-house, will
cover admissions, registration, student records, alumni/development,
financial aid, accounting(GL, payroll, A/P, A/R,...) and many other
functions. Additional functions to include planning capabilities
(financial modeling, simulations, ...) graphic presentation, library
circulation, food service, and user accounting, etc. CARS operates
on VAX with 4.x BSD Unix and VMS/Eunice. We use Informix (relational
DBMS), Horizon Word Processing, and applications programming is done
in C.
Desire individual with:
Bachelor degree in computer science or business
or Experience in campus administrative computing
Programming experience in C
Work as team member in an established(14 years old), dynamic,
steadily expanding, software/hardware firm.
