This question may not be appropriate to this list, but it seems to be the closest: Did anyone try to run the FastPath Manager on a Mac running System 7.0b4? It always crashes when looking for k-boxes with "address error". This happens for both version 5.1 and 5.2.1 (latest version) of the manager. (Mac SE, 4/40, System 7.0 beta 4) mohamad p.s. anyone know the e-mail address of Shiva tech support?? ========================================================================= Mohamad El Jazzar eljazzar@utkux1.utk.edu U. of Tenn. For me, running a MacII (with MMU) and 7.0b4, FPM 5.2.1 doesn't crash, but it does splatter some odd characters across the screen. Seems to work, though. > anyone know the e-mail address of Shiva tech support?? tech@shiva.com - RL "Bob" Morgan Networking Systems Stanford -------

Seems to work, though. I've seen this as well, but only when using it across LocalTalk. When I use FPMgr with Phase 2 EtherTalk as the selected interface, I get some strange behavior, but never crashing. Make sure that both virtual memory and 32-bit addressing are both disabled. The word I have from Shiva is that FPMgr doesn't deal well with either. Hope this helps, -tom
