I've installed CAP 6.0 on a sun4. I've tried IPtalk mode and also ethertalk mode. Everything compiles fine. My atalk.local file looks like this # mynet mynode myzone 93.31 10 "CSD SERVICES" # bridgenet bridgenode bridgeIP 93.31 251 131.202.3.251 # nisnet nisnode 93.31 10 I've told my gateway to use ddpinudp and old ports for net 93. I run atis and get failed to register errors (timeouts). I set the debug option on atis and atis.run looks like this: 3:04:01 05/14/91 Got nbp 1 lkup from net 0.163, node 223, skt 76 13:04:01 05/14/91 Looking for entities to answer a lookup with 4000209:Liaison* @CSD SERVICES 13:04:08 05/14/91 Got nbp 1 lkup from net 0.252, node 1, skt 6 13:04:08 05/14/91 Looking for entities to answer a lookup with =:IPGATEWAY@CSD SERVICES 13:04:28 05/14/91 Got nbp 1 lkup from net 0.252, node 1, skt 6 13:04:28 05/14/91 Looking for entities to answer a lookup with =:IPGATEWAY@CSD SERVICES 13:05:44 05/14/91 Got nbp 1 lkup from net 0.255, node 220, skt 76 13:05:44 05/14/91 Looking for entities to answer a lookup with 4001207:Liaison* @CSD SERVICES 13:05:50 05/14/91 Got nbp 1 lkup from net 0.252, node 1, skt 6 13:05:50 05/14/91 Looking for entities to answer a lookup with =:IPGATEWAY@CSD SERVICES 13:07:45 05/14/91 Got nbp 1 lkup from net 0.163, node 117, skt 2 13:07:45 05/14/91 Looking for entities to answer a lookup with 4006050:Liaison* Anyone have any ideas. I probably have my atalk.local screwed-up. Im not sure what to put in for mynet. Chris McNeil University of New Brunswick
