Title just about says it all. How the heck do you print postscript to LaserWriter IINT using ApplesharePC 2.x from inside of Lotus 123 release 3.1? 123 tries to contact the printer 3 or 4 times per print job. (It is still contacting the printer 40 seconds after I have the finished printout in hand.) This is not good network behavior. Lotus tech support told me that postscript support for the laserwriter is not a strong point of release 3.1. They said to "print encoded" into a print file, and then give the following dos command: copy printfile.enc/b lpt2: That works, but seems a bit primitive for this day and age. Is there an elegant way to do this, or should I dump release 3.1 for some other release of 123? (I don't have the option of *not* using Lotus.)
