[comp.protocols.appletalk] TCP/IP *AND* AppleTalk *SIMULTANEOUSLY* existing on PCs

tony@scotty.dccs.upenn.edu (Anthony Olejnik) (05/23/91)

I know that with MacTCP, you can have TCP/IP applications and
AppleTalk applications coexist simultaneously on a Mac.

Can I do the same with PCs?

I'd like to use Telnet/FTP on my PC (running DOS) as well as
using, say, AppleShare for file sharing.

The PC would *NOT* be the server.
The PC could either be on LocalTalk (and use a GatorBox, FastPath, etc.)
or the PC could be on Ethernet directly (via , say, a Western Digital card).

Any help would be *GREATLY* appreciated.

thanks.
