Forgive me is this has been reported before -- I am brand new to cap. I have just installed Cap60 (with 15 patches applied) on a Solbourne S4000 running SunOS 4.0.3c. Cap is configured for native Ethertalk. I am trying to access an Apple server on a local talk net (a MacIIfx running system 7). I type: ash "dicks:AFPServer@solid state" About half the time this results in: abInit: [ddp: 0.20, 94], [GW: 0.20, 169] starting Looking for dicks:AFPServer@solid state ... Segmentation fault and the other half I get to the "User name?" and "Password:" part, which, even though I am reasonably certain that I type the correct information, always results in a Authorization failure Login failed! The rest of the package (Unix printing to local talk printers, accessing Unix file systems from the Macintoshes) work as advertized, i.e great. The ash problem is obviously (ash being a test program) not serious. I am just curious to hear if someone else has run into it and also if it might point to some other (more sinister and hidden) installation or network problem.
