I have had 3 reports (and just verified) that the CAP 6.0 Phase 2 code will not run under SunOS 4.0.3 with the le0 ethernet interface. An identical binary functions perfectly under SunOS 4.1.1. The ie0 interface apparently works OK with either OS version. The problem is that when an attempt is made to add a multicast address to the underlying interface, the SIOCADDMULTI ioctl() fails with an "Invalid argument" error. If anyone has definitive information on this, please let me know. In the meantime, if this is a problem, I can only suggest upgrading your SunOS. - David.
