Thanks very much in advance. I just trashed my summary file so I have to put this back together from memory. Many appologies to those who provided information. Apple is "working" on SLIP for MacTCP but it seems very unlikely that they will do anything in the near future. Some even wonder if they're going to do anything in the distant future. Intercon (703-709-9890) has their product running over SLIP with their own drivers and is working on adding SLIP to MacTCP. At present, they are not marketing sources for libraries, they are only marketing products that use SLIP. Cisco has an implementation of NCSA Telnet that works with SLIP available from dirt.cisco.com. No sources, just the application. The KA9Q TCP/IP package apparently supports SLIP. It's rather portable (Suns, Macs, and PCs last time I paid attention.) I don't know where the official Mac version is, but there is a copy of it on uunet.uu.net: -rw-r--r-- 1 root 439811 Sep 22 18:19 networking/ka9q.slip.tar.Z No idea what those sources look like, or what exactly they are for. And that's about it. Thanks again to all those who provided information. -David
