Also, I'm pretty sure there are DOS TCP drivers that can be "routed" to speak over various hardware devices, including serial, AT, or ethernet. Does anybody know of a card + software product that can enable a PC to use the ADSP(Apple Data Streem Protocol) ? I would like to hook a Mac and a PC and have info transmitted via AT and it seems ADSP is the best way to do that . Does anybody have a better idea ? Thanks ! I don't know the specifics of their announcement (done at the May Developer's Conference), but I'm sure they would be happy to talk to you. Mike Shoemaker

I won't argue with you that TCP/IP would probably be better, cause we sell TCP/IP stuff for the Mac, but there are ADSP cards etc for the PC. Try talking to Sitka, Farralon (yeck), and Dayna. They are just some of the people who have AT type cards for the PC. Kurt Baumann 703.709.9890 InterCon Systems Corp. Creators of fine TCP/IP products for the Macintosh

Does anybody have a better idea ? I was at a talk given by Thomas Rielly, Farallon's VP for Marketing and he said that ADSP would be supported in an upcoming release of their PhoneTalk system for PC's (basically AppleTalk on DOS). If you're needs are really pressing, you might want to get in touch with Farallon. -- Michael Peirce -- outpost!peirce@claris.com -- Peirce Software -- Suite 301, 719 Hibiscus Place -- Macintosh Programming -- San Jose, California 95117 -- & Consulting -- (408) 244-6554, AppleLink: PEIRCE
