[comp.protocols.appletalk] Databases Across Platforms

I am looking into UNIX DataBase packages where the database would be on a
VAX/SunOS type machine and another database package for the mac that could
be configured to make queries/changes/etc.. to the UNIX database... Am I
dreaming?

Sorry, haven't been by this group in a while, and was able
to see only the above subject line of an unavailable article.
dBASE IV now shares data *and* binary code between PCs and
Macs with NetWare/286 or 386, or between Macs with any
AppleShare File Server-compatible server. Please mail me
for more info.
