I am looking into UNIX DataBase packages where the database would be on a VAX/SunOS type machine and another database package for the mac that could be configured to make queries/changes/etc.. to the UNIX database... Am I dreaming? Please e-mail me direct and I will post if I get enough info... --Mike Moya --Macintosh Systems and Networking --Engineering Computer Network, Purdue University --moyman@ecn.purdue.edu

Sorry, haven't been by this group in a while, and was able to see only the above subject line of an unavailable article. dBASE IV now shares data *and* binary code between PCs and Macs with NetWare/286 or 386, or between Macs with any AppleShare File Server-compatible server. Please mail me for more info. --Cy Shuster-- dBASE IV RunTime Plus Developer cy@dbase.a-t.com
