Hi,
I have CAP 6.0 pl27 running on several machines, but I have a problem
getting 'atis' to work correct.
Programs that register themselves to 'atis' (like 'aufs' and 'lwsrv')
show up in the nis.db (using 'atis dump'). 'atistest' tells me
everything is OK. However, the registered entries do not show up in
'atlook' (also not on the Macs). 'ash' cannot connect to the file
server either.
I'm having this problem on Ultrix/RISC 4.0 (both GCC-compiled and
native CC) and Ultrix/VAX 3.1 (GCC-compiled). Therefore, I think it's
me just overlooking something simple. CAP seems to behave correctly,
since I can see the LocalTalk objects in 'atlook' and I can print to
the LaserWriters on the AppleTalk net using 'lwpr'.
The gateway is a Shiva FastPath4 using K-Star 8.1.1. CAP is configured
for IPTalk only (no UAB and no EtherTalk).
Any suggestions are welcome.
