To MDC Members: In regard to the X11 PROPOSAL RULES document that I presented last meeting, I'd like to get some informal feedback: Section 3.B.2 and 4.A.2 originally stated that a proposal's status could not be raised at the same meeting. There was sentiment to indicate this by "time" rather than by "meeting". I suggest that a proposal can not be raised (to "Subcommittee Type A" or "MDC Type A") unless it's been at its current level for at least two months. I had been thinking of five months but that seemed excessive since in the past we have had meetings only a few months apart. (The purpose of the delay is to ensure that everyone has ample time to evaluate, test, and check the proposal.) How does everyone feel about the limit being two months? -John Godfrey
