Applications are invited for a senior-level software engineering
position at Digital Equipment Corporation's Spit Brook software
engineering facility in Nashua, New Hampshire (within 1 hour of Boston).
The successful candidate should have:
* a Ph.D., or equivalent experience, in computer science or a
closely-related field;
* substantial experience in multiprocessor theory as it relates
to applications, high-level languages and tools
The project is an advanced development project within the Languages
and Tools Group. The emphasis is on software, but involves closely
working with other groups (both hardware and software) inside and
outside DEC. The project will also be closely aligned with the
Parallel Computation project of the Alpha-Omega Program of the MCC.
