     I am seeking a programming position  in  California.  I  am  currently
working  in the IC-CAD (Integrated Circuits - Computed Aided Design) group,
Tektronix, Beaverton, Oregon.  My wife and I are getting a little tired  of
the  rain and would like to move back to sunny California.  We would prefer
northern California outside Silicon Valley (especially the Santa Cruz  area
-  anybody there?) but other locations in California will be considered.  I
will be available to start early to mid February.

     Much of my experience is CAD related, but  I  have  a  wide  range  of
interests  including  (but not limited to) simulation, graphics, compilers,
operating systems, and debuggers.

     I wish to program in a UNIX (tm) environment in C or some other struc-
tured   language   (not   fortran,   basic,   cobol).    No   startups   or
military/"defense" projects, please.

      simulator.   Evaluating,  choosing,  purchasing  new logic simulator.
      Developing standards for software written by CAD group.   Supervising
      others  in  software  projects.   Implementing support for layout and
      connectivity for graphics editor.

   Concurrent Sciences, Feb 1983-present (1/2 time).   Co-author  of  high-
      level symbolic debugger for Intel's languages on RMX, IBM PC with UDI
      systems.
