Position: Person knowledgeable in Unix to devote 1/2 to 3/4 time to
Unix system administration, C programming, user support.
Remainder of time to be devoted to Computer Security work.
Requirements: BS degree in Computer Science with 2-5 years experience
at least 2 years in Unix and C programming with some
background in operating systems.
General Information: Currently there are 3 individuals running these two
machines. The 11/780 has 200 users and is used
primarily for research projects. The 11/750 has
100 users and is used by the department for research
in computer security. Within the next several months,
we will be bringing up 4.2bsd. The current staff
devotes from 1/4 - 3/4 time on Unix with the remainder
spent on computer security work.
