INTERMETRICS, INC., established in 1969, is an internationally
recognized, high technology company, engaged in the development of
real-time applications software, the building of compilers,
communications networks, and the manufacture of turnkey and
customized industrial productivity systems. We seek the following
professionals:
_E_N_G_I_N_E_E_R_I_N_G__P_R_O_D_U_C_T__M_A_N_A_G_E_R
Responsible for management of engineering for standard products and
the development of large, custom hardware/software systems for
real-time monitoring of industrial plants; formulate long range
product plans and develop technical proposals for commercial
customers. Minimum of 3 years systems engineering/software
development experience with real-time microprocessors and minis and
at least 2 years project management background.
_S_Y_S_T_E_M_S__E_N_G_I_N_E_E_R_I_N_G_-__S_I_G_N_A_L__P_R_O_C_E_S_S_I_N_G
Participate in the analysis of signal processing functions for sonar
or other applications; perform validation testing of signal
processing software and related verification and validation tasks.
The possibility of future involvement in other projects in the
signal, image, or speech processing areas also exists. BS in
engineering, physics, or computer science. MS preferred. Related
signal processing background required.
_S_O_F_T_W_A_R_E__E_N_G_I_N_E_E_R_-__A_D_V_A_N_C_E_D__T_E_C_H_N_O_L_O_G_Y__D_I_V_I_S_I_O_N
Perform software development and testing in Fortran 77 and 8086
Assembler for real-time software in an embedded micro environment.
Assist in assuring the quality of software documents, design and
coding. Monitor software management and software configuration
programs. BS in computer science, math, or engineering and 5 years
software development experience. Background using Fortran and 8086
Assembler preferred.
_N_E_T_W_O_R_K__C_O_M_M_U_N_I_C_A_T_I_O_N_S__E_N_G_I_N_E_E_R_S
Participate as a team member in an "IV&V" and "Test and Evaluation"
group. Plan and participate in the Acceptance testing of DDN
(Defense Data Network); perform design reviews and prepare test
plans, execute tests and analyze results. Some travel outside of US
is highly possible. BS in engineering, computer science, or related
field. Knowledge of Unix and C and packet switching networks
desirable.
