[comp.ai.digest] Funny Logics and AI: references

hayes.pa@XEROX.COM (03/03/88)

Try looking through `Logics for Artificial Intelligence' by Raymond Turner,
Ellis Horwood series in AI, John Wiley 1984. He does a pretty good survey of a
whole lot of odd logics with bibliographical sumaries at the end of each
chapter.

You might also look at _Non-Standard Logics for Automated Reasoning_,
Academic Press, 1988, ed. E.H.Mamdani et al. It's a bunch of polemics
and discussions and expositions of lots of different approaches, of varying
quality.
