NAS is a net- work of heterogeneous computers -- from 68000 based Unix graphics workstations to supercomputers (Cray 2 running Unix) -- that will be used for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), i.e., a digital wind tunnel. The intent is to build the premier CFD facility in the world ... And to maintain "premier" status by designing and implementing state of the art systems software which facilitates the incorporation of advances in supercomputer technology into the twenty first century. WHO WE ARE: Informatics General Corporation. We recently won the com- petition for the NAS Systems Software Development contract.
