NETWORKING (ISO OSI, TCP/IP, Netex, Lincs, Sockets, XNS)

We are looking for people to work on the Systems Software
Development project for the Numerical Aerodynamic Simulation
(NAS) system for NASA Ames Research center. NAS is a net-
work of heterogeneous computers -- from 68000 based Unix
graphics workstations to supercomputers (Cray 2 running
Unix) -- that will be used for Computational Fluid Dynamics
(CFD), i.e., a digital wind tunnel. The intent is to build
the premier CFD facility in the world ... And to maintain
"premier" status by designing and implementing state of the
art systems software which facilitates the incorporation of
advances in supercomputer technology into the twenty first
century.

WHO WE ARE:

Informatics General Corporation. We recently won the com-
petition for the NAS Systems Software Development contract.
The work is to be performed at our offices in Palo Alto -
where we will have a multi-processor computer facility with
a 50 megabit LAN - and at NASA Ames 4 miles down the road.
Competitive (i.e., private industry) salaries.

If you think you could make a contribution and are
interested and intrigued by a project of this complexity,
importance and vision, please send your resume to:
