Kurt Thearling quotes a quote in AIList Digest V7 #45.

Excuse my ignorance, but I am not able to judge who is plagiarising
whom.  Douglas Adams invented a computer which does just this in "The
Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy".  Most people regard this novel as a
work of fiction.
