A Frame-based representation language : PFL.
============================================
In the November and December issues of "AI Expert", mr.Tim Finn
describes a pedagogical frame language : PFL.
He explains some of the principles of repesenting knowledge
with a FBRL, using this LISP-based frame language. He also mentioned
that a version is ported to VAXLISP, and that is why I posted this
request.
Is there anyone who can help me get hold of such a public domain
frame-based language. It should preferably be able to run on our VAX,
but a version for either Macintosh or IBM-PC are welcome as well.
Thanks,
Fred Moerman.

Subject: re: PFL
In answer to the query about Finnin's frame rep language, I downloaded from
compuserve and have used it on a Mac with ExperCommon Lisp, and I also have
it running on an HP9000-350 in Common Lisp. If you look in the front of the
AI magazine, it will give you the compuserve acct.

The PFL package is also available via anonymous ftp on
linc.cis.upenn.edu in ~ftp/pub/pfl . PFL is a relatively simple
frame-based knowledge representation language implemented in Common
Lisp. Tim
