Third AI Research in Environmental Science Workshop 2-4 May 89, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Rockville, MD. The workshop will address topics of interest to practioners of AI applied to environmental science. The workshop will incorporate a variety of presentation formats including invited and contributed papers, panel discussions, and demonstrations. Authors are requested to submit an abstract of approximately 300 words in one of the following topic areas: Demonstrable AI systems Database usage and management Work in progress Data analysis systems Knowledge engineering Validation Software engineering Data quality control Human factors Educational considerations Hardware considerations Research issues to: Dr. W.
