I am an Occidental student and a senior in the Cognitive Science major. As a requirement we are to present a paper or project for evaluation. I have decided to program an expert system which performs the duties of a college cousellor - given the types of interests, the "counsellor" will advise the student (user) as to which major would be best to pursue. Therefore, I would appreciate some suggestions on how to model my program, and which language would best suit my purpose.
