I keep finding myself having to move stuff over from our Sun to the Mac for PageMaker. I can import the text, but I have to practically go through it line-by-line to get rid of the troff stuff. I know of a MacWrite/troff converter. How about the other way around? Any info would be greatly appreciated. While I'm at it, is there any way to change the ticks and double-ticks used in ordinary text files to real quotes? I'd like to do the same thing for hyphens and dashes. I have better things to do than go through long files changing every quote, double-quote, hyphen, and dash. Thanks in advance. Please send info directly to me, as I may or may not be getting this mailing list/newsgroup. -Greg ----- Greg Brail UniPress Software UUCP: {everywhere}!rutgers!unipress!erika!gjb Work: (201)985-8000 ARPA: rutgers.edu!unipress!erika!gjb Home: (201)846-3013 USNAIL: Don't bother. ---------------------------------------- Submissions to: desktop%plaid@sun.com -OR- sun!plaid!desktop Administrivia to: desktop-request%plaid@sun.com -OR- sun!plaid@desktop-request Paths: {ihnp4,decwrl,hplabs,seismo,ucbvax}!sun Chuq Von Rospach chuq@sun.COM [I don't read flames] There is no statute of limitations on stupidity
