This undertaking has created an immediate opportunity for a qualified Computer Programmer. In coorperation with senior research scientists, you will conduct advanced development work in applied image processing toward the invention of totally automated visual inspection equipment for semiconductor wafer fabrication. Responsibilities include assisting in the design and programming of computer vision algorithms in a 'C'-Unix environment on 68000 microcomputers and VAX's. Three years experience in Unix - 'C' programming required. Preferred candidate will possess an MSEE or equivalent and 3-5 years of industry experience. In addition, some familiarity with image processing, semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment, optical microscopy, equipment interface hardware and software protocols, and video cameras and digitizers is highly desirable.
