I've done IMPRESS to HP thinkjet in a couple of days. As for PostScript to IMPRESS, first you need a PostScript parser, then you need the fonts (can probably use the ones supplied with dimpress and di10), you'll also need the PS graphics model, including clipping and halftoning. What you really need is a PS compatible language that you can hack to generate IMPRESS from the page bitmap that it produces. Bug me in about 3 months about a PS clone.
