I just received an interesting booklet in the mail: "PostScript Typesetting" from O'Reilly and Associates in Massachussetts. It has lots of good info, including a short introduction to PostScript section, a UUNET subscription form, and information on how to reach their system via uunet or directly via uucp. They have a Linotronic 100 typesetter and charge reasonable amounts for typesetting. One interesting feature they're offering is to accept troff input files or ditroff/otroff output files (they supply the font width tables) for typesetting. (They are also reselling our ditroff to PostScript product, devps, so I'm not quite unbiased in this report.) Call them at 800-338-6887 for more information.
