Pagemaker is a nice, simple DTP program to use.  It is fairly
intuitive, but as was mentioned by the editor, it is geared towards smaller
publications.  If it is power and large document length you are looking for,
I believe Xpress is the way to go.  It has some wonderful features, such as
pipelining to a specified page and column, automatic text wrap around
irregular objects and much more.  It is geared for doing newspapers and I
believe that the newest version has gotten rid of the irritating printing
bugs.  I hope this helps.
