Hello out there! I'm using PageMaker 2.0 (the first version
of it, in case they came out with any later revisions; we just
updated from the 1.0 we bought) and I'm having some pretty
weird kerning problems.
I have the spacing set to exactly where it was when we got the
package (that is, default) and letters often pile up over
each other and over other things. (It all looks okay on the
screen.) Lowercaser 'r' is a frequent troublemaker.
The equipment ranges from a Mac Plus, Mac SE, and/or Mac II
printing out to an Apple LaserWriter (that does Plus fonts --
it may have been upgraded) with the Apple driver.
Any suggestions? What do you have your kerning specifications
sent to? Please reply by mail; I will summarize to comp.sys.mac
if people ask me to.
