The EXPRES/ODA work is owned by CMU & NSF & will be in the public domain. Our
current plans for the ODA stuff (Tool Kit, translators, documentation, ...)
are to distribute it on the "EXPRES tape". (The EXPRES tape is just like the
Andrew part of the X tape, but will contain some support for scanning rasters
& the ODA stuff.) We have not finalized plans for the release dates &
availability of this tape yet. But, we expect the complete tape to be
available to the general public by October, 1988. There will probably be
earlier versions of the tape available (without ODA support), but that hasn't
been worked out yet. We will be distributing early versions of the ODA Tool
Kit to one site: the Electronic Publishing Laboratory at NBS.

By the way, why don't you post this answer on the desktop-publishing bboard so
everyone can see it?
