At Verbex, a speech recognition company that is a division of Exxon, we have an opening for someone with the ability to do advanced signal processing research. Such work will form the foundation for a new speech recognition algorithm now under development. We are looking for a Ph.D. level person or someone with a M.S. and three years experience. The field of the degree is not important, but expertise in Digital Signal Processing is. Verbex has been in the speech recognition game for several years, and we have a reputation for putting out the most accurate (and most expensive) speech recognition systems. We have 3 Vaxes running VMS (more people to help me yell U**X could change this). We have some other nice toys like a Genesco color graphics terminal and a DSC a/d:d/a. Back in the stone age of vector processors, Verbex designed one that is still one of the fastest machines around, and we have a few of these. Contact: Cheryl Sweeney Verbex 2 Oak Pk.
