The PC Magazine issue of March 15, 1988 has a review of two font editors in it - ZSoft's "Publisher's Type Foundry" and SoftCraft's "SoftCraft Font Editor". List prices - PTF: $495, SFE: $295. Based on the review, it sounds like SFE is the one you want for the LJII. PTF needs MS Windows, SFE apparently does not, therefore, SFE would probably be faster. SoftCraft also has a program called WYSIfonts that will convert your bit-mapped printer fonts into Windows or Ventura screen fonts. WYSIfonts is reviewed in the March 29 issue of PC Magazine on page 38. PTF and SFE reviews in the 3/15 issue are on page 48. I have no experience with either of these programs - I also use VP and paid more attention to these reviews than I might otherwise! Good luck!
