[net.jobs] Job building speech research tools near Boston

dsi@wjh12.UUCP (Isenberg) (04/11/84)

At Verbex, a speech recognition company that is a division of Exxon,
we have a job opening for someone who can build a workstation for
speech recognition research, as well as other interactive software
tools. This person should be strong in C.S. or related disciplines
( MS or Ph.D. would be desirable, but not absolutely essential.)
and should have at least three years experience in interactive graphics
programming. Other experience in real-time signal processing or
speech processing would be nice, but is not essential.

To build this workstation, we have three Vaxes running VMS
(though this could possibly change if some other people besides
me wanted it to). We also have a Genisco color graphics terminal,
a DSC a/d:d/a, some Verbex homebrew vector processors, and miscellaneous
and sundry other toys.
