I received my Pagemaker 3.0 upgrade by UPS last week. I have not
yet installed it on my Mac SE - why, you ask? A scan through the
installation procedure notes that 3.0 will only run on a *hard disk*-
requires up to 3.3MB of storage. That is fine on my SE, but the only
access I have to a laserwriter is through a floppy SE elsewhere. So
until the hardware gets upgraded - in a few weeks - my 3.0 will sit on
the shelf.
As to Illustrator - I am a big fan of Illustrator. It requires some
time investment, but its potential seems endless. I am forever
finding new ways to use it. Illustrator '88 seems like it is going
to mix the best of the postscript graphics and the paint programs. Due
out in May. Upgrade for $100.
