[comp.text.desktop] Capturing screen images to bring into Ventura Publisher

USGEHB%GSUVM1.BITNET@CORNELLC.ccs.cornell.edu (11/17/88)

Hello. I am trying to revive our computer center newsletter. I will be
using Ventura Publisher (v 1.1). I want to be able to capture screen
images from our mainframes and bring them into my Ventura documents.
Someone recommended PC Paintbrush's FRIEZE program, but that only works
with graphics and the screens I have are text. Does anyone know of a
program that will do this? I want to capture the screens as if they
were graphics so I can manipulate them in Ventura as a graphic image.
When I bring it in as text, the text is hyphenated and it doesn't look
like a screen anymore.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm new to this arena (I work
mostly on our VM mainframe) so if I've missed something obvious, sorry.
Please respond directly to me as I'm not on this list (yet). Thanks!
