Exciting Research Position in Sunny New Jersey Wanted: applications programmer for speech research, both synthesis and recognition. Primary computational environment is Unix (tm) on a VAX 11/750 (2 to 3 users), with some additional programing for MC68000-based systems and special digital signal processing chips. VAX has DMA-driven color graphics device and audio i/o, and is networked with about 50 other similar machines, three of which are also used for speech research and have identical graphics and audio capabilities. Some of the work may involve use of Symbolics 3600 Lisp Machine. A BS in EE or CS and C/Unix experience are desireable.
