[comp.text.desktop] Publishing Benchmarks?

     Does anyone know of any sort of standardized publishing software
benchmarks?  I imagine something whose name ends in "stone".  Does anyone
have any ideas what would comprise a good benchmark for DTP packages?
It would be difficult, I think, to dissociate many underlying platform
characteristics, but it would be interesting to be able to compare a
variety of packages on performance rather than features.  Perhaps the benchmark
could attempt to normalize for platform attributes, to yield some sort of
"glyphstones" rate for rendering and formatting text and images.

     Any thoughts on this?
